Analjit Singh is the founder of Max India and has been a driving force behind the Company's sustained growth and success since 1984.

As its first Managing Director, he personally led the Company into the Bulk Pharma business and in its endeavours through diversification into the areas of Telecom services, Plastic speciality Products, Electronic Components and Plating Chemicals. Under his leadership, each of these ventures has grown into a successful business

From April 1998, Mr. Singh commenced a restructuring of Max India and invested considerable time and effort in developing a new strategic direction for Max India's entry into knowledge, people and service based businesses of Healthcare, Life Insurance and Information Technology.

Now as Chairman of max India and Max New York Life Insurance Company, he has led the new businesses from concept to reality; each poised for rapid growth in their respective areas.

Apart from his direct involvement in Max India and its related ventures, Mr. Singh is also a Member of the Executive Board of the Indian School of Business; the Harvard Medical School Microbiology Advisory Council, Trustee of the Delhi Chinmaya Mission Seva Trust and Member of the Board of Directors of Welhams School, Dehradun.
