Max Speciality Products awarded the Golden peacock award

New Delhi, January 22, 2001:

Max Speciality Products a business unit of Max India Limited has been awarded the golden Peacock Innovative and Product/Service Award in the category of Eco-Innovation Devices for the in-house development and commercialization of their environment-friendly Leather Finishing Transfer System 'Max Star'. The Golden Peacock award is chartered by the Institute of Directors, Ministry of Human Resources, and government of India and has been instituted to be the driving force for sustainable excellence.

The award was presented by Mr. Shanta Kumar, Union Cabinet Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution at the inaugural session of World Congress for total Quality 2001 in New Delhi to Mr. K. S. Ramsinghaney, C.E.O. max Speciality Products on January 20, 2000.

Commenting on the award, Mr. K. S. Ramsinghaney, Max Speciality Products said "The golden peacock Awards for Innovative Product/Service is a great achievement for Max Speciality Product. This award is a tremendous boost for our efforts to improve and innovate our processes with an aim to make our products quality-oriented and environment friendly."

Max Speciality Products is the first and only manufacturer of leather Finishing Transfer systems in India. The unique technology of this range of products ensures that leather finishing is done through heat transfer instead of the traditional spraying and drying of chemicals. The MaxStar process is not environment friendly, but also ensures consistent and reliable transfer of colours, prints and patterns.
