Max
Speciality Products (MSP) is Max India's fully owned business unit, specializing
in the manufacture of BOPP films, Metallized BOPP films, Thermal Plastic
Films and Leather Transfer Finishing Foils. MSP's state-of-the-art manufacturing
facility at Rail Majra near Chandigarh is ISO 9001 : 2000 certified.
This
top of the line infrastructure includes two fully integrated Stenter lines
of the world's best : Bruckner, for BOPP films, India's widest Web Vacuum
Metalliser dedicated for BOPP, from Valmet (GVE), Slitting machines from
Kampf and Atlas and film thickness controls from Radieometrie (earlier
FAG) & Measurex (latest generation : MAXPROLINE based APC); backed
up by state-of-the-art S7 Simatic PLC with WINCC SCADA interface from
Siemens for automatic process controls and trouble shooting. Each line
has been suitably optimised by upgradation with the latest & the best
technology available.

MSP
has pioneered the introduction of many new products in India; latest being
barrier grade metallised BOPP films, thermal laminating BOPP films &
transfer foils for leather finishing & upgradation. These efforts
have won MSP global patents and the 'Golden Peacock Award' in the category
of 'Eco-Innovation Devices/Products'.

Two
divisions represent MSP's range of business:
Maxmet Division
This
division is in the business of providing BOPP film-based substrates
to the flexible packaging industry and thermal film to the laminating
industry. It consists of all types of non-metallised BOPP films,
Metallised BOPP films and Thermal plastic films.

Non-metallised BOPP films
The products meet stringent requirements of hi-tech, niche applications
and Maxmet can boast of discerning & demanding customers who
are leaders in their fields; both in Indian market & in Export
market (specific segments & niche areas).
Maxmet
has pioneered the introduction of several speciality BOPP films
and has achieved growth through the value addition route. Product
range includes high gloss variant to standard Pearlescent BOPP
film, speciality Print-Lam films (both gloss & matt) for export
markets, Over-wrapped films with characteristic of high-speed,
high-shrink & low-haze, speciality films for holography &
labels, sealable films, opaque films, twist-wrap films and also
release films for manufacture of decorative wooden laminates.
Additionally, it specializes in films, suitable for high quality
barrier grade vacuum metallization.
Its
range varies from 12 to 45 micron thickness, having customized
widths ranging from 64mm to 1600 mm. Maxmet films are customized
with unique characteristics to operate smoothly on customer's
machine.
Metallised
films
MSP
also manufactures high quality barrier grade metallised BOPP films
for top-end requirements of food packaging industry. Input films
are the uniquely tailored BOPP met-base films produced in-house
on two-lines of Maxmet. Metallisation is done in the state-of-the-art
computerized Vacuum Metalliser of Valmet (GVE), which is operated
through a computerized control room, making the facility one of
the best in the world.
It
is the first & the only Metalliser in India, which is dedicated
to BOPP film metallization and MSP is the only BOPP unit in India
which does metallisation for merchant sales. It is incidental
that MSP's Metalliser continues to be the widest-width BOPP Metalliser
in India, even after six years of its operation.

Barrier
Metallised film of Maxmet has outstanding properties and
excellent uniformity of metallization with a variation of
less than 5% in optical density across the width & length.
High purity Aluminium significantly improves the film's
ability as gas and moisture barrier, besides providing protection
against ultra-violet light, visible light and infrared radiation.
As compared to plain BOPP film, the ability of Maxmet's
metallised BOPP to act as an effective gas barrier improves
by as much as 15 times. The metallized BOPP film is available
as heat-sealable and non-sealable with thickness varying
from 15 to 35 microns.
MCG
Films
Speciality
coated films: both BOPP & PET are produced here. The
products are targeted for high-end quality applications
of thermal lamination & encapsulation. It helps the
users in hassle-free & faster lamination, even in smaller-lots.
It is eco-friendly and delivers value-for-money for its
users & end customers.
It

backed-up by installation of uniquely engineered plant &

Maxfoil
Division
This
business division was born out of the unique innovative efforts
of in-house R & D. Entrepreneurial efforts of a select
team of scientists, engineers & managers were instrumental
in translating this dream into reality.
It
pioneered the introduction / use of Transfer Finishing technology.
This process not only upgrades poorer grade leather crust,
it has also contributed in strengthening the capability of
leather garment manufacturers, in competing globally, with
higher quality finishes & specific feels of leather, besides
offering design & metallic leathers also. It is an eco-friendly
dry-finishing system for leather-finishing in just three seconds.
It is azo free. It is fine and unique that the leather produced
with Maxfoil finishes, qualifies as Natural Leather as per
European standards.
Global
patents have been applied for these-unique products. Maxfoil
received "Golden Peacock-Award" in India for introducing
"Eco-Innovative-Devices".
Maxfoil's
unique leather finishing foils used by the leather garment
industry are targeted at the overseas markets. This has helped
MSP in its vision to be a global player. Its product-range
have been displayed every year at the prestigious international
leather fairs of Bologna (Italy), Hongkong & Chennai.
It operates in global markets through well-knit network of
specialists.
This technique helps in enlarging the range of imagination
